Tomorrow (or rather today) is also a Buddhist Holiday hor...also no alcohol...basically none till 24th 8am I think...but some places may just secretly open lah....heard some at Thaniya are open....:D

yes.. It's big buddha day for thai people.. so most of the place are close.. Even it's open no advice to go because police in thai will just come close it down and you might get into trouble.. but then if u go other part of thailand i heard the clubs are open and serve alcohol..

even the local host clubs in SG r actually more expensive and well.... the LDs and flowers fly way more than the SG Thai clubs....

the last time I was in Bangkok when there is an official ban on all sales of alcohol was during the weekend when they were holding pre-election for early voters. most clubbing places are closed. The authority is presumably worried that Thai citizens would get too intoxicated to wake up to vote. :eek:

The gogobars in Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza are open but they only sell coke and orange juice (at about the price as the beers and alcohol and which hardly anyone will order on any other days). it was quite a refreshing experience to be in a nightlife venue looking at semi-naked girls and sipping orange juice. :p

another club that was doing business on that night was SPICY. but since it was an after-hour pick-up clubbing place and open till 4 -5am, which officially is illegal anyway, I suppose the authority is inclined to close one eye.

but the occasion is political election and only bros in Bangkok can confirm if they will do the same for holidays of religious observance.

been reading this forum quite alot to get some homework done but i assume this thread mostly is about G club.

i am a teenager going to be adult and i assume there are alot of people like me reading this. just gonna contribute some observation myself

i was walking around soi cowboy and i went to dollhouse after walking the street 2 times , i know baccara is famous but i choose to hop around first.

( why 2nd day because we skip soi cowboy first day and go LEVELS , beside bedsupperclub , dont go there unless you handsome or dare to hook girls which is hard or you barfine a girl because you never know if the girl is someone bring one , live music is perfect because they can really sing, song choice is more pop clubmix. )

2nd day went there with 2 of my friends, get some drink and relax first, get lady drinks for 170baht per drink for my friends etc. it happen that there is a receptionist ( not dancing girl ) happen to speak chinese and she ask for lady drink ( aunty ). After a few struggles just buy her a drink ( total buy 2 cause i tell her dance in the stage then i buy her another one =P of course not for long cause she aunty ma ).

By right our plan is drink and see but my friend dont know why he toottoot the aunty ask him want bring the girl out he say yes without knowing any shit about barfine. when he say that i was like wth... what to do, we no money pay her for ST/LT , but the aunty say nono , you can bring her go out to disco dance.. i was like ok O_O. my friend also have another young receptionist beside him therefore our decision is to barfine 2 person. Total cost for day 1 : 4200 baht ( in the bar + barfine ) , go to insanity club : around 2000 baht. cab fair for them : 400 baht ( each 200 ) , food also got but little la , no need kei gao. Never bring home or whatever because we dont want sex.
( note : dont go there unless you're a fan of electro music unless you just wanna touch, but for us we very particular about musics in the club. )

day 3 : Go back same place because i wanna barfine this girl that i particularly like but i never do it on day 2 because i save $ ( regretted ) . Sunday therefore not really alot of people in this place but i dont care , i just go to barfine this girl and dance together! after buying a few drinks and 2 barfine the cost is 2400 baht because we stay there very short. Go to scratch dog club , buy 1 bottle of red label ( got other drink choice at price range of 1600~2000 ) can bring 5 person in for free for 1 bottle. Mixer is 4 glass bottle ( 300ml i assume ) for 320 baht , bucket of ice is 100 baht. ( they earn more using this method =.= cause the mixer super little )
At there dance with her and get to kiss her etc.. and take pictures , added her in fb and yeah i enjoyed my time with her while my friends also enjoy.
total cost : 3200 for bottle and mixer , 400 for both girls cabfare.

day 4 : buddha day ~

So i really like this girl because her reaction is super cute and she can dance!
things to note is :
-don't be stingy there if is within your own budget.
-try not to barfine a receptionist because she is quite conservative ( we wanna have fun , not finding a girlfriend )
-i know the taxi fare should be 100 but just give 200 if they ask lo , maybe they stay far far or whatever because WE DID NOT PAY FOR THEIR TIME EXCEPT THEIR BARFINE but of course is best to tip them more if you really enjoy your time! i planning to do that haha.

will be in bkk next weekend so if theres anybody who like to club can hit me up!

Bro, I believed you misunderstood me. I was relating my time there few years back during the pre-election voting weekend. that was why I mentioned it was for political occasion while for those holidays of religious observance, which was the Buddhist Len holidays as the point of discussion here, I cannot confirm as I am not in Bangkok at the moment.

But I don't agree on the giving more for taxi drivers.
One time two times more of these, they will be expecting everyone to do so le.
Then we nvr give is machiam a crime.

And bro u say u took taxi to insanity. Do u know the club tip the taxi driver 100baht for each passengers he drove there?

I just can't accept taxi drivers asking for tips. What I feel is they do their job get me to the designation I happy I give more . But if they ask, hehe hell no.:D
