I've got a feeling that what is happening in Angeles City could soon spread to Manila i.e. customers getting caught for human trafficking & jailed if they barfined a girl.

This is the reason that most tourists are staying away from bar-fining any girls from Manila clubs. A mama also told me in Firehouse that after they enacted a new law this year, tourists are very scared to bar-fine a girl.

I was told a safer way now for Manila is that you take a girl's number & ask her to visit you in your room, get to know her real name etc and hope your room doesn't get raided by the police. Another way is to avoid calling her to your hotel room and go to some apartment that has relatively lower public exposure.

Time to play very safe in Manila & even rest of the Philippines now.

You don't get jailed for barfining a girl unless the girl is underaged.

not at all .. other than 'manufactured evidences' there is a law that goes like you cannot have an age gap of more than 10 years, between you and the girl, in places like hotel rooms, bars etc. etc.

So far, Cops from different areas have different agendas.

Take Manila, they are more keen to make $ .. so they wouldn't want to kill the Golden Egg laying Goose !

Sounds scary this human trafficking thing. When was this law enacted in Philippines ? Has anyone been arrested in Manila yet ? I know from the Angeles Mayor's thread that things are very very bad there....Customers getting arrested for bar-fining a girl, Fields Avenue is empty, A bar owner was shot recently, 3 to 4 bars have closed down as well, Air Asia is going to discontinue flights to Clark... .....Wonder why all this is happening !!! And if this continues, the hotels in Clark have to pack up as well ..... I don't see any other reasons that tourists would go there......And it will affect all the tiny businesses as well....the shops to load your SIM card, the money changers, the convenience stores, the mango seller, the viagra peddlers etc. etc.

I really hope things get better there & doesn't affect Manila as well .....

Well, for asking the girl to come over, you got pay 'deposit' or girl will change mind .. or some other guy, when he sees you have helped the girl clock her required drinks, may step in and steal her .. there is some fun but .. not a sure shot proven method
