You mean in Hdy no auto-roaming ka ... I'm using Vietnam phoneline and was planning to stop over in Hdy via BKK first week of Jan. If tis is true, then it is a big problem lor coz me also need to do daily reporting to HM. :confused: :o

thanks sifuuu for clarification. Good things about danok is we can get Malaysia line. So I just need to tell hm I go training within Malaysia. Then I can go in enjoy already keke. If go hatyai, no Malaysia line. Roaming ring tone diff. Very hard to think of an excuse. The only way is to switch off hp. That's why I not dare to go hatyai overnight.

I teach u a way. Normally u will park ur car at the DFS right ? U can put ur HP(silent mode) in ur car or u can leave ur Hp(silent mode) with someone u trusted(better be guy, ask him not to answer any of ur call) then u can sneak in to hatyai overnite liao loh! Then next day then go take back ur Hp. if got HM miss call u then just tell her u last nite left ur hp in ur car(if she called early) or slp(if she call at nite) liao loh! ;):rolleyes::D

Greetings to Bros here, I've got a 2 weeks of leave to clear and I plan a trip across Thailand after reading up various Thailand thread here. Hatyai will be my 1st stop, I will depart SG 21st Dec, reaching HTY the following morning. I'll be staying in HTY for 2 days, then proceed to my 2nd stop Phuket, 3rd stop Bangkok then spend my last 2 days in Danok before returing to SG. I've visited HTY 3 years back but now I presume there has been a lot of changes. Any Bros will be there during this period can PMed me to meet up, btw, I'm early 30. :)

You can use Xintel (XinTel :: The Communication Company) where you forward all your incoming call to their ### and set your thai number to receive call. It will forward your incoming call to your thai local number. The advantage is that you won't have any roaming charge and won't listed in your bill. BUT you can't avoid the ringing tone and thai greeting if you miss a call.

The best is just to sms, no ringing tone or thai greeting to worry about, o the excuse of saving outstation call charges.

thanks for the suggestion... but the thai greeting is the really the killer la... if hm got this thai greeting when she call me... i really can not imaging the outcome... so better just off the phone or leave the phone in the car. saver... I can not have a single mistake le... else... die kao kao.... :(

bro holymannn, yes, i travel alone this time. but i've met up with a bro in hty yesterday, dunno whether can jio him to go danok together or not. if he is going, i believe it will be fun :) judging for what i saw yesterday nite, i got this gut feeling that he knows danok well, but he say long time didn't go down danok liao. i think i'll reach danok after new year, around 2-4 Jan 2009, u free during that time? I almost 3 yrs didn't visit danok liao, last trip there was the same as my last trip to hty.

FR for my first day (22nd Dec) in hty

The coach left GM around 7+pm and reached hty the following morning. Both the m'sia & thai immigration is quite jam, holiday period i think. Once reached hty, i go for my breakfast and check in to my hotel immediately after that, i did not sleep abit during the journey so i plan to take a nap before i proceed with my recon mission to the farms. I sms the 2 bros who PMed me their contact that I reached hty liao, arranging a time to meet up.

One bro replied that he is free after 4pm, so we agreed to meet up in Deep Point coffee shop at 4:30pm and the other bro 747 me. I choose Deep Point because of it's location, after TCSS with the bro, I can proceed with my recon mission with ease as Deep Point is located at the central of SKY (see kim yong) area. I woke up around 4pm, sms him i'm on my way to DP and told him i was wearing a light blue t-shirt so he would recognise me, sound like a blind date huh? LOL.

We met up and breifly introduce ourselves to one another, (i'll refer him as bro tt from now on) tcss for a while and arranged for our dinner at Here Kui seafood 7pm (hope i got the name of the place right). I went on with my mission to the farm alone as bro tt told me he don't like to go farming. A lot of changes in SKY since my last trip here 3yrs ago almost all the farms is gone, i've wasted my energy & time to walk around in vain. luckily andrew karaoke is still around. I went inside but only see 5-6 gals left (price of booking is 2000bht), none of them were my type so i took a tuk tuk to go back to my hotel, price of tuk tuk went up from 10 bht to 20bht also.

Part II

I took a shower after i reached my hotel and sms bro tt that i'm ready, and waited for him in my hotel lobby, bro tt arrived shortly and we went for seafood together. The seafood is nice, the chilli sauce is damn excellent (sour, sweet and spicy all in one). bro tt ordered a sweet & sour grouper, 2 steam crab, a fried rice, a mixed vegetable, steamed prawn for us and i order 2 fresh oyster for myself. The bill comes to around S$50, that's dirt cheap in my opinion (comparing with price in SG) bro tt actually wanna pay for it but i paiseh to let him pay cause i'll be taking rides in his car for the whole nite.

After dinner and a bit of TCSS, it almost 8:30pm, and i've yet to get a gal for the nite. Too late to go farming liao and bro tt offered to company me to Kiss Lounge to take a look. Once we reached KL, the mamasan & manager gives us a very warm reception, (not us but bro tt, paiseh, i think he super VIP there) Around 20 gals at that time, I slowly look around but most of their age is mid 20 up and some even mid 30 liao, I'm a sucker for SYT, so i told mamasan, i'm not interest in booking any of them. Bro tt bring me to another place Kabuki to take a look. As usal, when we reach the place, mamasans & manager all rushed out to give us (bro tt) a red carpet welcome. Kabuki is less well-known compared to Kiss Lounge, in fact i never heard of the place prior to this visit. Kabuki is similiar in everything as KL, but in term of gals, fewer in choice (around 13 gals that time), but they have a 2-3 SYTs, so i think i'll stick around here. Rate is 1900bht ST, 3200bht LT, some of them don't do LT, so you better ask mamasan first. I get a SYT for LT for that night.

We stay in Kabuki for around 1.5hr drinking and playing dices game, nice atmosphere and my gal is also very GFE. The manager told me if it is bro tt's friend, they will take extra good care of them, true to his words, i felt like i'm a super vip there also. Around 10:30pm, bro tt ask me whether i wanna go to party somewhere else? Sure man, i told him, i'll follow him to wherever he goes, i ask my gal to get change and follow us, 1 great mistake i made for the night. Our next stop for the nite, Bar Berry. (btw bro tt told me Hi-So already closed since late Nov, so Hi-So fans here please take note.)

Part III

We reached BB in a short while, mamasans & manager again rushed to greet us (bro tt), i'm getting the numb feeling about being treated like a vip liao. mamasan lead us to a corner sofa beside the toilet, bro tt's regular spot. Less than 2 minutes, all the models come to our table, and when i say all, i mean it. I roughly do a head count, 12 models were with us. Not very crowded during that time, i can see that guys from the other tables keeping staring at us. Most of the model, do a self-introduction to me, after sitting down. bro tt ordered LD for all of them and the party started.
I felt i was left alone as most of the models are only interested in getting bro tt's attention. I look at my gal again and can't help to think she is a ugly duckling compare to the model. Sigh...what to do, already paid for the booking liao, so must make good use out of it. bro tt told me never bring along a gal to party in a club cause the models, coyotes there will know you're attached and simply mean you got no chance liao. Point taken, i know what to do when i party with bro tt again.

I'm not a good drinker, so after a while in BB, I felt the alcohol taking it's toll on me. My world is spinning all around me, but i was told that got 1 last stop to go before bro tt called it a night. The live band performance is so so only in BB, but i spotted 1 very chio singer that is exactly my dream gal type (name : unable to disclose after knowing she is bro tt's ex from one of the model, i think i saw her performed in GM before, not very sure though) I very interested in one of the model name Fon, and I asked bro tt whether she is available for booking. bro tt told me to ask her personally or the mamasan, but was told neither it will be cheap nor easy in getting model to bed. Sianz liao after hearing that but still going there the next day to try my luck.

After we left BB around 1:30pm, bro tt brought me & my gal to a place called Star Bar. It's opposite Sugar Beat, and it is new i think. This place is happening, i see a lot of SYTs (not with guys) drinking & dancing, bro tt told me this is one of the most happening place in hty nowadays to get ONS if you're good. I'm a better listener than a speaker in thai so I ruled myself out of getting a ONS in this place, maybe this is the chore for bro tt as he can speak thai like a thai. After 2am, the place become more & more happening as some of the coyotes, singers, models in hty will come down here to party as well. I don't remember what time we left SB, i'm to too drunk even to walk properly, luckily my gal & bro tt help me out of SB. After that, bro tt send me & my gal back to the hotel first before he go and take supper with one of the model.

Overall the night is a unforgettable one in hty, the best I had in hty in many time here so far, thanks to bro tt for showing me around.
