All clubs in Singapore are basically that. Look at Republiq and even Insomnia. Singapore clubs are just an excuse for people-watching.

Late late reply - but personally I think Guilly's isn't a bad place to hit. Kinda big, good crowd on fris and sats, and girls are pretty approachable. Sure beats the other places I've been where everyone is in their own cliques and can't be bothered to mingle.

Hey bro, the avenue area is going in for a hit in terms of prices. They just launched a block that's empty - serenity tower? And their 2nd building, antel spa I think is not even fully occupied. AND what's worse is that just around the corner, along kalayaan, century properties is completing a huge project, centuria medical, milano residences and Trump Tower. Going to be a lot of empty units flooding the market within the next few years.

Though on the flipside, if they do succeed in re-developing all the surrounding area then you will have a good ROI, just look at nearby rockwell with its high rise apartments and office buildings. Definitely good money to be made there IF you bought in early.

Hence, if you do intend to stay in the Philippines, then just buy lor and if you can't sell it for a profit, at least you can stay in it and enjoy a bigger place than for what you will get for the same amount in Sillypore. and makati donch get floods.. just the "occasional" brown outs for now.

maybe i'm old, but i prefer the free entry in nearby Opus, music is better too, less trance and more hip hop / pop. Tables are cheaper ~ just need to purchase 2 bottles (1 of which you can keep for next time, lol) would cost about 3-4k per bottle.

Damn! Guess i AM old.

Wherever you are, just party on! enjoy the drinks, music and company. You can get all 3, albeit at various prices. :p

BTW, i do know for a fact that the girls who work at a premier (read: expensive) japanese ktv style club called room 526 go on to party @ republiq on sat as their boss pays for it. ETA ~ 2am.

Yup Guilly's is pretty good as well. Never been there but from what I hear, lots of locals there.
