Hi Brudders,

For those who have not tasted Danok, and would like some guide. PM me and I will provide information to the best of my knowledge.

SGD500 for 3 days, 2 nights is possible.

Hotel : 2 x RM60 per night

Gal : 2 x RM200 per night

Food : simple, but decent meals 3 x RM50.

Throw in a good evening out at Good View lakeside dinner at RM100 all inclusive of a small whisky. need some few RM for soi motorcylce rides (RM20 enough)

That make it about RM790 so far..... so what else are you looking at beside the road passage from whatever destination..... so you still have some for tips for good service....

Just went driven to Hatyai and back recently, quick look at Padang Besar, too. Doesn't look appealing to me, but heard that there is a nice Kwan Yin Temple to go to there.

Please refer to Danok thread for further respond, let's get to the right thread.

No need to kenna zap for being in the slignhtly wrong place.

cheers and enjoy

The hotels in hatyai are all fully booked during songkran festival (12-15 April), I could not get even a room from that period after calling a few travel agent (Chan, 707..etc). Bros going hatyai during the above mentioned date please take note. :)

Well, you can try your luck at Thung Sao mansion (behind Diana shopping centre), Supanut mansion (behind Sugar Beat) or Lee mansion (near Kiss Channel, a few blocks away). Just my guess, maybe there is room available, maybe there is not. :)

That's actually a very good idea. Cos most of the time, if your tirak is paying her own rent, high chance is that she is sharing her apartment with one or more roomates or "sisters".

And normally, during songkran, they will prefer to not work and stay at home and drink and sing and play water whole day and whole nite long. All of them are very frenly and wild when they are drinking and playing water. It's hell lotsa fun to do that especially if u speak a little bit of thai.

But realistically, if she is staying with roomates and you are planning to play water with your di-di, or even a threesome, the chances for that to happen is only in our fantasies. Sigh...

Bro PM72, I think this year will be very crowded due to the fact that 12 and 13 April fall on sat & sun, many would make it without having to take leave. You can see it when hotel are all fully booked a month before songkran. What about chiangmai? I heard they started songkran a few days back.

Maybe he's staying at puying room so no worry? If any bro confirm going there during this period, but hasn't book any room in advance. Well, still can try your luck at most tour agent office when you reach there, but prepare to pay more extra charge for those popular hotels. Hotels around See Kim Yong area may stand a higher chance to get a decent room. However if you are good enough, book the gal who has rental apartment and stay in her room.:D

TD Resident offer apartment room at 500 baht/day, Tel:074559595, next to Hatyai bus terminal. Room is clean, AC, near weekend market open evening Thur-Sun.

If still damn no luck, then can try Raj Uthit area. Please refer to map for this location. There have quite number of hotel there not shown in published map. Oliver massage parlour is around there.

Thank you for think highly of me. Please don't say that as I wouldn't dare to claim old bird that know Hatyai like back of my hand. I'm just helping with my limited and outdated knowledge. This thread is quiet because the unrest south of LOS, bombing history in Hatyai, without direct flight from SG,etc, deter people from going to this city. There are many good veteran bros who either seldom post here or have shift their interest to other country/city, where vast pool of pretty ladies to quench their desire.:)

PS-Your rep point has healthy inflation rate

Still remember when there were flights to Hatyai from Spore everyday. Then they cut the flights to 3 times a week. If you wanted to spend a weekend in Hatyai had to wait until Tuesday for a flight back to Spore.

Thats when I stopped going to Hatyai.

Doesn't Thai Air fly from Spore to Hatyai anymore?

she is a nice ppl with nice breat to hold..

nice to hUg her at sleep with 3 fucks...

anyway i still prefer BKK gogo bar. there is no much choice in hatyai.

i had with a 18 yo bkk girl last yr,,only 1300 bath overnight, it is worth

No, even before Tiger started and stopped. Even used to transit a day or 2 before bkk.

Good to see you and few others keeping this alive. Pity, used to enjoy nite out at Kiss Channel with music/singers/dancers, and nite cap at Blue Kiss etc (even minus kfc/farm chicks).:D

Direct flights stop was the nail in coffin for many here:cool:

That stopped the Sporeans, but shouldn't affect the Malaysians.

I did fly from BKK to Hatyai using 1togo, a Thai budget airline. Found Hatyai kinda quiet.

Easier nowdays to fly to Bkk & take a side trip to Pattaya.:)

Bro, nowadays Kiss Channel is very quiet just like hatyai. BTW, Blue Kiss re-renovate and change name to Ice Blue Kiss some time back, still a nice place to hang out after graveyard hour.

Agreed with you that no direct flight is killing this town slowly. Meanwhile, I would say dannok is a better place to cheong. :)

When Hatyai was still very a happening place, I did visit dannok. It was then a cowboy town & even had Indonesians working there.

The first girl I booked there told me about her stay in a Spore jail.

The second girl I booked took drugs & when she went out to get cigarettes, disappeared & I never saw her again. I didn't get a replacement because the office was closed & it was my last night there.

I will never forget dannok.:o

Just a bit nostalgic, since I last popped by 14 months ago. Hdy's already laidback, so Danok.. Not been there, heard it's more cowboy town, coming alive at nite?

How's places like Kiss Lounge, Westside and The Pubb doing?

I was only referring to us Sinkies, as our Msia boleh bros (especially northern parts) just drive over and never really relied on flying after AirAsia dropped.. with usual weekend peaks for kfcs and entertainment places.

Myself did hdy/bkk sector on NokAir, AirAsia, 1-2-go, TG with combo Tiger to/from SG. Don't disagree extension ex Bkk to nearby places eg Pattaya beats indirect commute to hdy.

Bro, shit do happens sometimes...:p nevertheless it makes your trip to dannok "memorable" :D. Look on the brighter side of things, dannok is getting more & more happening these recent years, maybe your opinion will change if you re-visit dannok again. :)
